Accelerated Reader

We have 6 AR periods of approximately 5-6 weeks long for the entire year.

Our entire class met their AR Goals for all Periods this year so far!! Keep up the hard work!!!

Students in our class will be given their STAR Reading test results so they will know their their GE Reading level, IRL(instructional reading level), along with their ZPD Reading Range and Personalized Reading Goals and documentation will be sent home. Also, every student in our class will have daily access to our Classroom Library so they should have a book to read at all times. In addition to having access to our Class Library anytime they need, we also have on-line libraries available through Myon and Epic (see teacher for details). Please be sure your child is taking at least 2 AR tests a week and scoring at least 85% or higher on each quiz taken. Let's get all those boats Sailing and heading toward Treasure Island.
