Welcome Parents and Students:
I hope you all had a wonderful and blessed Summer Vacation. I have been praying all summer and am looking forward to a very exciting and Christ centered journey with my Second Graders. It is an honor to be your Second Grade Teacher for the 2021-2022 School Year.
Second grade students will be soaking up the "Son" in our tropical teaching island adventure. These "Sand"sational Second graders will Search the Shores of Second Grade seeking out new challenges, making exciting new discoveries, and "Sea"ing the world through God's eyes. God has inspired me with a passion for life-long learning and the desire to encourage students to love reading and learning through engaging hands on activities that are fun and exciting. I am blessed to be working in a Christian school where we can grow both academically and spiritually, giving glory to God for all of our abilities, talents and gifts.
I am married with two adult children, ages 20 and 25. My hobbies include hiking, paddle boarding, bike riding, exploring Botanical gardens, and spending time with my family. I love the beach and being outside in God's creation. Prior to being called by God to launch into a career in education, I spent over twelve years of my life in my former occupation as an attorney. I was admitted to the California Bar in 1999 and received my Juris Doctorate degree from Southwestern School of Law. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from California State University of Northridge. I have my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from California State University of Fullerton. I have been on staff with Water of Life Christian School since 2010 and this will be my 11th year teaching 2nd grade.
I know God has many exciting adventures for us this year as we set out on a spirit filled journey of exploring our community and the world around us. I am grateful for this opportunity and the privilege of preparing your children for success as they accomplish all that God has called them to do.
